Redbook New Spring Outfit Day 22

no...i didn't go shopping for an LBD.

up in my closet, on the top shelf, over to the far right corner is a wad of worn clothes. affectionately known as the should be hand washed but i put em in the wash on gentle cycle and don't dry em stack. that's where this black dress was hiding. shameful. i know.

for the life of me i can't remember if i bought it for a special occasion (it's really old), but i vividly recall how much i paid for it. $14.99 from Marshalls. i've worn it to a couple of parties and a fashion show charity event.

that big ol' grin on my face says how i feel about this outfit. and oh yeah - if Redbook can sneak in a different belt, so can i!

the remainder of the challenge will involve me doing my own thing with recreating the outfits. i'm more confident now and feel comfortable injecting my individual style personality into the looks.

you know i don't care for the utilitarian jacket  and on that note: my version of Day 22 gets a thumbs up.

  3. The dress is great. I really love the light color of the belt. It makes it more current.

    1. that's the good thing about LBDs...you can take one from the stone ages and make it modern with a couple of accessories!
