Redbook New Spring Outfit Day 23

i like everything about Redbook's color-blocked spring outfit. if you've been wanting to experiment with color-blocking, watch this video i found. 

considering my lack of fondness for sweaters, Old Faithful (my lightweight jacket) is perfect for this recreation. my version is more realistic for a central Texas spring outfit. removing the jacket if you get hot is a helluva lot easier than trying to take off the sweater wearing nothing underneath. 

i decided it was time to stop neglecting the wedges. their neutral color compliments the look and the height of the wedge dresses up the look. the animal print flats would work for this too.

Day 23 gets a thumbs up.

what would you add to this outfit to make it uniquely your own?
